Vehicle Description
Painted in bold red, this 1969 Plymouth Road Runner carries forward
the legacy of Mopar muscle car dominance from the late sixties.
Originally built in the St. Louis plant, this Road Runner features
a color-changed exterior with an aggressive profile enhanced by the
fiberglass hood. The substantial presence is amplified by Weld
Racing 15-inch wheels, with BFG tires sized 215/70R15 up front and
wider 255/60R15 in the rear for improved traction. The chrome
bumpers and classic Road Runner grille emblem maintain the factory
appearance while giving this muscle machine its unmistakable
identity.
The black interior combines vinyl and cloth bucket seats for a
proper muscle car feel. Factory instrumentation is supplemented by
AutoMeter Pro Comp gauges and a tachometer for accurate engine
monitoring. A Hurst shifter connects you directly to the 4-speed
transmission, while a Kenwood AM/FM/CD head unit with USB and AUX
inputs provides modern audio options. Power steering gives easy
control, and the carbon fiber-wrapped column adds a custom touch to
this otherwise factory-style cabin.
A 383 cubic inch V8 with mild performance cam gives this Road
Runner its genuine muscle. The engine breathes through a Holley 4
barrel carburetor sitting atop a matching Holley intake manifold,
with Hooker headers feeding into a dual exhaust system featuring
Flowmaster mufflers and an H-pipe for an authoritative exhaust
note. Front disc brakes provide solid stopping capability, while
the aluminum radiator helps maintain optimal operating
temperatures.
