This 2011 BMW 1M is one of 983 examples delivered to the North
American market during the models single-year production run, and
is finished in Alpine White over black Boston leather with orange
stitching. Power is from a twin-turbocharged 3.0L inline-six paired
with a six-speed manual transmission. The car was ordered without
navigation, and features manual seats with adjustable bolsters as
well as a Harman Kardon sound system with Bluetooth connectivity
and a USB adapter. Sold new in Georgia, it was relocated to
Northern California in 2013 and brought to Michigan in 2021. New
Bridgestone tires were mounted in 2021. This 1M now has 21k miles
and is offered in pristine condition with owners manuals, a car
cover, service records, one key, a clean Carfax report, and a clean
title.
Production of the 1M was limited to one year only, and this example
is one of just 326 finished in Alpine White (300) for the North
American market. The 1M was visually distinguished from standard
1-series cars with flared fenders, unique front and rear styling,
and four exhaust exits. Standard equipment included gloss black
Shadowline window trim as well as xenon headlights with fixed
washers. Black kidney grille surrounds have replaced the original
chrome versions, and window tint has been added along with a carbon
fiber rear lip spoiler.
The twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter N54 inline-six drives the rear
wheels via a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip
differential shared with the contemporary M3. Factory rated output
was at 335 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque, with an overboost
function allowing for an additional 37 lb-ft of torque in short
bursts.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage, listing
history in Georgia, California, and Michigan! An oil change and
