Seven Hills Motorcars is very proud to offer this absolutely
spectacular 1957 Oldsmobile 88 Fiesta Station Wagon, with only
79,225 original miles. This Fiesta was treated to an extremely
high-quality restoration. The wagon has a stunning paintjob,
brilliantly refinished chrome, and a beautiful interior and top.
The wagon is finished in the beautiful and highly desirable color
combination of Cutlass Bronze (64) and Shantung Beige (63) with
Festival Red (20) accents. This appear to be the correct and
original paint scheme as those codes appear on the trim tag, which
is pictured in this ad.
This is an excellent opportunity to own a very rare and highly
desirable classic Oldsmobile. The market on classic station wagons
is hot right now, especially for premium examples like this Olds.
One could easily buy this wagon now and sell it for more than the
purchase price in years to come. There is no way someone could
purchase a similar Oldsmobile and restore it to this level of
quality for anything near our asking price. Please peruse all of
the photos, video, and other information below to get a true sense
of how exceptionally nice this Oldsmobile really is.
As a side note, this Fiesta Station Wagon is not a dealer auction
vehicle. We hand pick each wagon after careful inspection. Our
Classics come from owners who expect their cars to go to someone
that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as they did.
We invite and encourage you to examine the wagon in person or have
the wagon inspected. Please take the time to scrutinize each
picture. We photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so you
can feel confident about your purchase. If you have a question
about the Oldsmobile, just give us a call.
Exterior
The Cutlass Bronze (64) and Shantung Beige (63) exterior is in
fantastic condition. As one can see in the photos the finish has
dazzling gloss, deep shine, and smooth finish. The wheels and
hubcaps are in excellent condition with a nice finish and no curb
rash. The Coker Classic bias ply wide whitewall tires are sized
H78-14 and have been used minimally since the restoration with
plenty of tread left. The chrome looks spectacular overall and has
a brilliant finish. There is some slight pitting on the trim around
the vent windows. There are a couple very tiny rock chips that were
too faint to show up in the photos. As one can see in the many
photos of the underside, this Oldsmobile is totally solid with
absolutely no rust; the bottom of the wagon is very clean.
This Fiesta looks just as good in person as it does in the
photos.
Interior
The tan interior of the Oldsmobile looks absolutely stunning. The
seats were reupholstered in very high-quality genuine leather
during the restoration are in excellent condition with no split
seams, rips, or excessive wear. The carpet is also in great
condition with no stains, rips, or holes. The dash is in terrific
condition with no cracks, fading, or sun damage. The original AM
radio works and most importantly the dash has never been cut or
modified for an aftermarket installation. The door panels look
excellent. The headliner is in great condition. This wagon has not
been smoked in; there are obviously no burn marks or aroma of
cigarettes what-so-ever.
The wagon has a matching full size spare tire, matching rim, jack,
and jack base in the truck area.
The interior looks just as good in person as it does in the
photos.
Mechanical
This Oldsmobile Fiesta seems to be in good mechanical condition.
The previous owner has used the car recently for car shows and
events and the car has performed great with no issues. The 371ci
"Rocket" V8 engine starts every time, runs well, and idles smooth.
The wagon drives nicely and just floats down the road. In the video
below one can observe the wagon accelerating on the highway up to
about 70mph, braking to stoplight, and going through some curves.
Please note that there are no vibrations and the wagon performs
quite well overall. The brakes are responsive. The transmission
shifts smoothly throughout the power band. Also, the engine
compartment is beautifully clean, detailed, and correct as one can
see in the photos with the correct and original air cleaner and
valve covers. The headlights work as do the brights, interior
lights, indicators, "gen" light, "oil" light, horn, and fuel gauge.
The antenna works manually. The clock works sporadically. The wiper
work and go down fine, but they need a hand to extend all the way
up. The blower does not work. The engine and transmission were not
rebuilt during the restoration, but one can see and hear how
everything functions in the video. The previous owner did fully
service the brake system. Not enough can be said as to how much of
a pleasure it is to drive this Oldsmobile.
Overall Condition
Overall, this 1957 Oldsmobile Fiesta Station Wagon is in marvelous
condition. This is truly an investment grade classic. As stated
above, there is absolutely no way someone could restore a
Oldsmobile to anywhere near this level for any amount near our
asking price.
The excellent restoration, the low original mileage, the great
attention to detail, and the beautiful color combination make this
wagon especially important and difficult to duplicate. This
Oldsmobile always gets a ton of attention driving down the road. It
is very apparent that the vehicle has been well taken care of by
its previous owners. One could easily enjoy this vehicle for
several years and sell it for more than the purchase price with
minimal effort.
Thank you for looking and please do not hesitate to email or call
with any questions.
