Bentley has a history of celebrating the end of a model's
production run with exclusive "Final Series" editions. These
special versions not only generate excitement but often become the
most sought-after in the lineup. In 2003, Bentley honored the Azure
Convertible's final chapter with an ultra-limited release from its
bespoke Mulliner Coachwork division. The Azure Mulliner Final
Series Performance merged elements from the widebody Continental R
Mulliner and the high-performance Continental T, creating a grand
touring convertible with serious presence. Under the hood, the
legendary 6.75-liter turbocharged V8 delivers 'T'
specifications-420 horsepower and a staggering 650 lb-ft of torque.
Design enhancements include flared arches, fender vents, red brake
calipers, and distinct bright-finish wheels, all adding to the
car's commanding stance.
The example offered here is one of just 62 built, with only 47
believed to be left-hand drive. Finished in black, it exudes
sophistication, accentuated by chrome wheels and a polished
radiator shell. The interior is equally striking, featuring
two-tone tan leather with dark diamond-stitched inserts on the
seats and door panels, paired with deep-colored Wilton carpets.
True to Bentley's craftsmanship, the cabin is impeccably
finished.
At 14,000 miles, the vehicle was reacquired by the dealer under
Lemon Law Buyback regulations but was later resold and meticulously
maintained as part of a distinguished Bentley SZ-platform
collection.
With its rare pedigree, outstanding care, and timeless elegance,
this Azure Final Series represents a worthy farewell to Bentley's
iconic convertible.
