Holy Cow! This restoration is phenomenal, and it won it's AACA 1st
place in 1995.
EXTERIOR: The exterior fit and finishes far exceeds the factory
standards by far! The fact that it was done almost 30 years ago is
a true testament to how well it was done. All the body panels are
completely square and flush, the doors shut like a new car. Every
square inch is laser straight. It was repainted its original Tahoe
Turquoise which is absolutely stunning on this car, it sets it
apart from all the red ones. The metallic is laid out evenly and
the clear coat is polished like glass. Every single piece of chrome
and trim is sparkling including the vent window frames, correct
antenna, crossflag emblems etc. It's a Rally Sport which not only
includes the hideaway headlights but also includes the wide rocker
moldings and relocated reverse lights. The headlight doors are
electric and work properly. This one is further enhanced with front
and rear spoilers. This is rolling on a set of 14 inch rally wheels
that look brand new and they're wrapped in BF Goodrich tires that
are brand new, we just installed them. It has a white convertible
top which is beautiful against this color. All new weatherstrips on
the car including on the top frame.
INTERIOR: Meticulously restored inside. Nice carpet, reproduction
floor mats and original seat belts on the floor. The seats are
reupholstered. The door panels, armrests, window cranks, visors,
mirror have all been replaced. All the metal trim is painted a
smooth semi-gloss black and the entire dash area is pristine. The
console, heater control panel and RS steering wheel were
replaced.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Completely, professionally rebuilt, balanced,
and bored .30 over. Upgraded with a factory aluminum intake, a
Holley Terminator X fuel injection, and a billet distributor with
electronic ignition. It is completely restored and detailed to look
stock from the chrome air cleaner and Chevrolet script valve covers
to the correct pulleys, brackets, exhaust manifolds etc. It even
has date coded spark plug wires and the heat shields around the
spark plugs. Features include power steering and power brakes along
with a working hood lamp. All the metal surfaces are neatly painted
and it's complete with assembly line markings on the firewall. The
cooling system is all restored, it has the correct shroud. Every
single component looks like brand new, the squirters are even
hooked up.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is clean and complete under the trunk lid in
the jamb are painted spotlessly. It has reproduction decals and a
working trunk light. Inside is clean metal that's been neatly
spatter painted complete with the shaker cans in the corners and a
nice fitting trunk mat. The spare and jack assembly are
restored.
UNDERSIDE: Meticulous nut and bolt restoration to factory specs
other than the transmission is upgraded to a 700R4 overdrive
automatic for easy cruising. All the steering and suspension, front
and back, has been completely rebuilt or replaced. The dual exhaust
is factory correct. The fuel system has been replaced including the
tank and the lines. The entire brake system was rebuilt including
the lines and e-brake assembly. Looking up at the motor it is
spotless and looks factory correct. The trans is a fresh B&M
overdrive automatic. The restored drive shaft leads back to its
original rear end with 3.08 posi gears. The floors are all clean
metal painted a smooth satin black. It is still very detailed under
this car right down to the tags on the leaf springs were put back
in the original location.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we
built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and
hired a team of technicians to work it. This is so we can sell you
the best cars within reason.
Outstanding restoration that has more than proven itself
considering it still looks and functions like new! Ready for easy
cruising with the addition of the fuel injection and overdrive
automatic.
