Vehicle Description

This may well be the finest 100% original 1950 Mercury Club Coupe
left in existence! This incredible example has only 21,414 actual
miles since new. It still wears its original black exterior paint!
The interior is all original as well. The car was purchased new by
a Mr. James Goldrick in Salt Lake City, Utah on July 20th, 1950
from Walton Motors Lincoln-Mercury. When Mr. Goldrick passed away
in 1980 the car went to James' brother Howard Goldrick in Granite
Falls, North Carolina. Howard lovingly cared for his brother's
vehicle and even won an AACA Junior & Senior awards for this fine
automobile in the early 80s. This particular example has an amazing
list of roughly 30 factory accessories, some of which include:
factory overdrive, deluxe Ivory steering wheel, factory AM radio
(with FM chip installed), parking brake light, full fender skirts,
Mercury spotlight, dual side-view mirrors, door handle nail guards,
deluxe exterior sun visor, chrome gas filler door guard, tissue
dispenser, fog lights, backup lights, day/night rearview mirror,
rocker panel moldings, front fender stone guards, dual exhaust with
stainless steel tips, factory turn signals and more. This Jewel of
an automobile is as terrific mechanically as it is cosmetically.
The automatic choke as well as the overdrive work as good as new.
Purchase includes a copy of the original Utah title, Utah state
inspection from 1953, original owner service policy, original
owner's manual, service invoice from Walton Motors, clock and radio
hang tags, title service receipt from 1981 when the car was
transferred into the brother's name, and more. Simply the best!
