This 1970 Chevrolet Caprice is a top-of-the-line, unrestored,
original with just 21K actual miles. It was enjoyed by the first
owner for only about 10K miles and was stored after his death in
1971. Most recent collector acquired it from the original owner's
family around 1999 and it still had the original tires on it. He
and his family enjoyed it for some 25 years going to AACA and
Classic Chevy Club meets and tours until his recent passing. The
Caprice now has 21K original miles and is an AACA HPOF (Historical
Preservation, Original features) award winner (that badge is on the
grill). It still retains the original Desert Gold Irid factory
finish, black vinyl top and gorgeous original black nylon Caprice
interior. It has all of the right accessories including the
"bullet-proof" small block 400ci V8 with 265HP, turbo Hydramatic
automatic transmission, COLD FACTORY AIR CONDITIONING, power
steering, power disc brakes, tilt steering column, AM/8-track
stereo tape, Rally wheels, tinted windows and original 'bow tie"
floor mats. The original spare tire and tools are in the trunk and
the original tires come with the purchase, however newer radial
tires have been installed. This is a car that you just don't find.
All original and unrestored - enthusiast owned and driven since 10K
miles. Don't miss it!
