1978 Chevrolet Silverado "Big 10" - Absolutely killer squarebody that has been tastefully updated with lots of Show & Go in mind! Rust-Free factory shortbed out of Georgia that has been cosmetically restored back to it's glory with some added cool factor. Fully loaded SPID option card and original "Big 10" equipped truck with heavy duty components which has recently received a little altitude adjustment. Professionally lowered to the perfect comfort height with a 4/6" setup, drop spindles and flip-kit in the rear. This newly achieved stance is appropriately complimented by a set of 20" polished aluminum Torq Thrust wheels with performance radial tires. Truck still retains it's original numbers matching 350ci-V8 engine which has been rebuilt and stroked out to 355ci with roller rockers, comp cam, Edelbrock 4bbl carb, aluminum intake, electronic ignition setup, Hedman headers and a custom dual exhaust system. Original TH-350 automatic transmission has also been rebuilt with an upgraded B&M shift kit. Nicely equipped from the factory with power steering and power disc brakes as well as Air Conditioning which has been updated to an R-134 conversion kit from Vintage Air. Exterior is show quality and finished in the correct two-tone paint scheme with excellent stainless trim and chrome bumpers. All original glass is still in-tact and looks great including the factory optioned rear slider. Interior has received a bit of a face-lift thanks to a new set of TMI leather bucket seats with an era-correct GM accessory center console. Factory tilt steering column with a deluxe sport steering wheel adds some comfort for those of any shape and size while an AM/FM radio allows you to listen to your favorite country song about a truck. Original SPID card(s) can also still be found in the glove box along with the original owners manual. The underside, as previously stated, is very clean with no signs of any rust or rot issues and has been POR undercoated for future protection. Original floors, rockers, cab corners, bed, etc are all solid and look great. Engine bay has been detailed nice and tidy with an upgraded chrome dress-up kit. These roundeye-era trucks have become all the craze within not only the C-10 community but truck lovers worldwide. The good ones are hard to come by and it's tough to find solid examples that haven't retired to the fields or been hacked up or shortened to be something they're not.
