This 1964 Ford Galaxie is one of the nicest ones to be found, with
68,726 actual miles. This fine example is equipped with the 390ci
high-performance "Police Interceptor" engine and Cruise-O-Matic
transmission. Additionally, this car left the factory with power
windows, AM/FM radio, tinted glass, 2-speed wipers w/ washer,
rocker panel mouldings, bucket seats w/ console, fender skirts,
interior trunk release and whitewall tires. Then, the car was
outfitted with a plethora of options at the dealership (Ream Motor
Co. Madison, KS.) Fog lights, front and rear bumper guards, Dual
side mirrors, spotlight, Ford Select-Aire "knee knocker" air
conditioner, Ford trash bin and a Ford glovebox vanity mirror. Also
of note, this Galaxie 500XL is a 2002 AACA Senior Award Winner and
2003 Old Dominion Award Winner. Documentation includes original
window sticker, owner's manual and pamphlets, Ford ID card, and
ownership history from the early 80s.
