Sizzle! This one is hot and truly stands out amongst the others.
You need to see it in person to fully appreciate it. It is a real
Z-28 born Tuxedo Black with white stripes. A meticulous body off
frame restoration has it looking better than ever!
EXTERIOR: Factory colors, and it's a mirror on wheels! The Tuxedo
Black paint was applied with expert precision to detail then
polished to a slick and shiny finish. Definitely a paint job to be
proud of. The car had white racing stripes from the factory, these
are painted on and smooth to the touch. Looking down the side of
the arrow straight body you will be easily satisfied. The panels
are all wonderfully aligned with good consistent gaps that are spot
on. The doors close easily with minimal effort. The spoilers and
steel cowl induction hood really enhance the profile. The glass is
clear and the windshield was replaced. The iconic Rally Sport
includes the split bumper front end. The bumpers were rechromed and
the remaining brightwork all has a marvelous shine. It's rolling on
a sharp set of staggered U.S. Mags Rambler chrome wheels that are
18" up front and 20" in the back. They are wrapped in a good set of
radial tires.
INTERIOR: Totally fresh looking! Let's start at the top. The
replaced headliner is tight as a drum. The sun visors, dash pad,
gauge bezel, steering wheel, door panels, upholstery, center
console, and carpeting all look like new. The seatbelts, gauges,
tilt steering column, and shifter all appear to be good originals.
It has an upgraded Alpine stereo and 6x9 speakers added to the rear
shelf. Every detail of this interior has been touched upon and it
looks amazing!
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This rebuilt 350 V8 engine is rated at 360
horsepower. The aluminum intake manifold has the Winter's foundry
snowflake cast into it. Overall, it's nicely dressed in a chrome
air cleaner, valve covers, alternator, bracket, radiator support,
master cylinder cover, hidden hinges, and even latch mechanism. A
beautiful set of polished headers flanks the sides. All the belts
and hoses look fresh. It is equipped with power steering and power
brakes. The radiator was upgraded to a large aluminum unit, and it
also has a heavy duty 7 blade clutch fan to keep things cool. The
squirters and horns are hooked up plus the battery is properly
secured. The original trim tag is in place. The bottom side of the
functioning steel cowl induction hood is painted Tuxedo Black just
like the body.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The underside of the trunk lid and jamb are
painted slick just like the body. The weatherstrip was replaced.
Inside is a vinyl trunk mat protecting the metal. Under the mat is
clean and solid steel with a nice spatter finish paint. All the
bolts and nuts for the hinges and spoiler were replaced.
UNDERSIDE: The steering system has been totally rebuilt and works
fantastic. It has a front swaybar with new links. The a-arms look
fresh with gloss black paint and new ball joints, shocks, bushings
etc. It has a chrome rear swaybar and the leaf springs look great
too. It's equipped with power brakes that are disc up front, and
the emergency brake is hooked up. That exhaust is totally replaced
and has polished long tube headers, new pipes, Flowmaster mufflers
and turn down tips that exit behind the rear wheels. The fuel
system was replaced, the gas tank is shiny! Looking up at the 350
engine you will see lots of fresh looking parts, nice Chevy orange
paint, and a chrome oil pan. The Muncie 4 speed manual transmission
also looks serviced with a fresh mount. A rebuilt driveshaft leads
back to the 10 bolt rear end with a chrome cover. The floors look
smooth and are painted satin black. The frame was also prepped and
painted and upgraded with chrome frame connectors.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we
built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and
hired a team of technicians to work it. This is so we can sell you
the best cars within reason.
A genuine factory split bumper Z28! It's got the look and it ticks
all the boxes. When they are done right, they are done right!
For nearly 30 years, I, Jay Grams, have personally written the
highlights for almost every car in our collection. What I provide
is my professional opinion based on my experience with these
vehicles. However, opinions can vary, and I strongly recommend a
personal inspection to form your own view. Our sales team is always
available to answer any questions you may have. One great option is
to request a personalized walk-around video, where we can showcase
the car and share our team's insights. **Our cars are displayed
within a museum setting. If you are interested in a specific
vehicle, please schedule an appointment with a salesperson to view
it. Without an appointment, there is an admission fee to enter the
showroom. If you decide to purchase a car, your admission will be
refunded, and you'll receive a one-year museum membership.
