Description:
This 1959 Cadillac Coupe DeVille underwent a body-off refurbishment
in the mid-2000s and is finished in pink over black and white
upholstery. Powered by a 390ci V8 linked to a four-speed
Hydra-Matic automatic transmission, the car is equipped with power
steering, power-assisted brakes, wheel covers, whitewall tires,
fender skirts, power windows, and a power-adjustable front seat.
Service in 2025 is said to have involved rebuilding the
transmission and carburetor, servicing the brakes, and installing
replacement tires, while additional work completed since 2023
included overhauling the gauges and replacing the fuel pump.
Interior:
The cabin houses bench seating that was reupholstered in white and
black during the refurbishment. A color-coordinated dashboard and
door panels are accompanied by black carpeting, a power-adjustable
front seat, power windows, dome lights, and a locking glovebox. The
two-spoke steering wheel has a horn ring and fronts a horizontal
120-mph speedometer and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel
level.
Exterior:
Finished from the factory in two-tone Gotham Gold and Dover White
(40-12), the car was repainted in pink during the aforementioned
refurbishment. Exterior details include chrome bumpers, window
surrounds, and trim as well as quad headlights, a driver-side
mirror, rear fender skirts, and tail fins with integrated
taillights. White-painted 15? steel wheels wear polished Cadillac
Motor Car Division covers and are mounted with L78-15 Coker Classic
bias-ply whitewall tires. Power steering was standard equipment,
and braking is provided by power-assisted drums at each corner.
Drivetrain:
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed Hydra-Matic
automatic transmission that was rebuilt in 2025. The 390ci V8 was
factory equipped with a four-barrel carburetor and was rated at 325
horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque when new.
