Factory correct down to the T3 headlights, dated spark plug wires,
reproduction tires and even the stencils on the frame! Body off
frame restored! The #'s matching fuel injected 327 and 4 speed
manual transmission make for an exhilarating ride. Only 1,918 were
produced in 1962. Highly detailed and nicely documented with
pictures of the restoration. An absolute winner!
EXTERIOR: Far better fit and finish than it had when it was new!
Striking Roman Red paint is smooth and slick to the touch, shiny
and sexy to the eye. It's a paint job to be very proud of. Looking
down the side of the body it is amazingly straight with smooth
contours and crisp lines. The panels have all been nicely aligned
with great gaps that are well above average. The doors close easily
with minimal effort. The bumpers have been rechromed and the
remaining brightwork all has a glorious shine. The glass has been
replaced as well as the rubber seals and fuzzy strips. The black
convertible top looks brand new, and the top frame totally
restored. The convertible top lid closes precisely with a solid
thud. It's rolling on 15" steel rims adorned with sweet spinner
hubcaps that are in amazing condition. The reproduction Firestone
whitewall tires are also in great shape.
INTERIOR: Painstakingly refinished! Sharp black bucket seats have
fresh upholstery and cushions. The correct 4 speed manual shifter
proudly sits between them. The door panels, armrests, levers,
handles, and reflectors all look fresh. The entire dash area was
meticulously restored including the gauges. It has the correct 6500
redline for the fuelie motor. The dash pad has an excellent fit.
The steering wheel has a great feel and look to it. The carpet
seems fresh and brand new. Inside of the storage compartment is
neatly painted. It still has the original style Wonder Bar radio.
Every detail has been touched upon, and overall, this interior is
amazing!
