This is an extremely clean and well cared for 1964 Buick Riviera that’s been in the family for 60 years. Purchased used in 1965 by the owner’s father and she inherited it in 2022. Now it’s time to place it on the market for sale for the first time. It’s a true rust-free classic with an extensive maintenance record since 1977. At that time a rebuilt 401ci Nailhead and transmission were installed. That was approximately 44,000 miles ago. The original transmission is rebuilt and comes with as well as the original 425 block. It’s a fully loaded factory AC car with cruise control, power windows and driver’s seat, power brakes and steering. The original working Sonomatic AM radio and FM option are in place. AM works on the front speakers and FM works through the back speaker.
During his ownership he had the Riviera repainted professionally in its original Marlin Blue as well as new seat covers installed. You’ll notice the dash has zero cracks and all of the glass is perfect. Brightwork and chrome all shines as do the original wheels with matching spare in the trunk. It drives and rides like a dream and accelerates quickly with that Nailhead dual exhaust sound. Multiple files of receipts and history along with some spare parts.
