This first year Road Runner has been upgraded and updated to be
easier and more pleasurable to drive, but it hasn't given up any of
it's high performance heritage. It still sports the potent 383C.I.
V8 engine and the heavy duty A727 TorqueFlite automatic
transmission. The power steering, power disc brakes, and Vintage
Air make this a fantastic car to take cruising or to take down the
asphalt aisle. It of course retains it's famous Voice of Road
Runner horn that you can't help but smile at. It rides on 17
American Racing Mag 500 style wheels. The exterior is finished in a
subtle but cool dark blue metallic with black hood stripes and a
bold white longitudinal stripe. The white interior is fitted with
bucket seats and a woodgrain center console and stands out very
nicely against the blue carpet, dash, and door panels. This fun to
drive Road Runner is ready to hit the open road make new memories!
