Owner selling 1975 BMW 2002.Original bodywork Working sunroof. The original black upholstery seats have been re-stuffed and are in good condition. The door panels are in original like new condition. The headliner and dashboard have been professionally replaced. A beautiful new paint finish of Polaris Gray has been flawlessly applied. The engine is original with the recent enhancements of a new Weber carburetor, Ireland Engineering ceramic coated headers and factory center resonator, a new Bosch centrifugal advance ignition distributor was added, and has had a lower end overhaul including new main bearings, rod bearings and new oil pan gasket. The transmission has been recently converted to a 5 speed with new clutch, driveshaft, slave cylinder & hydraulic line and all new seals. The suspension has been upgraded with Bilstein shocks, front & rear brakes are in good condition, the tires are new, and a recent tune-up completes the list. All work done by restoration experts Moran Motosport in Berkeley over the last few years and Wolfgang’s Foreign Car Service in Walnut Creek. This car is a joy to drive with exceptionally quick steering & smooth but tight handling. This is the original "sports sedan". Take this opportunity to own an original & completely working BMW icon.
