1957 Ford Thunderbird Convertible which spent some of its life in Arizona . Has a soft top as well as a color matched hard top . The D code motor is a 312 V8 with 245 hp that was upgraded with a Holley 650 CFM Double Pumper . The car was originally an automatic. The transmission was swapped for an original, very rare, factory 3 speed standard with overdrive 45 years ago. The entire drive line has been regularly serviced all its life. The odometer shows just over 75000 miles and as far as we know its original . This TBird was fully restored in the 80s which was probably when the standard transmission was added. When the owner passed away, a Ford Dealer from Estevan Saskatchewan purchased it from his widow in Mesa, AZ in 1983 and drove it to Estevan. This car remained part of the private collection of the owner of the Ford Dealership in Estevan for 32 years. I purchased it in 2015 so it has been in a private collection for 42 years. To freshen up the exterior the car was repainted a few years ago . The interior has been redone. The car has telescopic steering and a replica AM/FM/Bluetooth Radio was added . This car runs and drives really nice and smooth . At highway speeds the overdrive transmission keeps the motor at 1500 rpm . It has a lot of getup and go - being able to shift gears makes it fun to drive ! Come take a look you won’t be disappointed ! Chilliwack British Columbia Canada . Price listed is U.S Dollars
