Description:
This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was refurbished and
modified under prior ownership with work that included shaving the
headlight doors and installing a replacement 350ci V8 paired with a
four-speed manual transmission. The body was refinished in white,
and the interior was re-trimmed in red with later Corvette-style
bucket seats. Additional equipment includes a black soft top, side
exhaust pipes, a cassette stereo, drum brakes, and polished 17?
Cragar wheels.
Interior:
The interior is trimmed in red and features later-specification
bucket seats. The central dash panel has been repainted in red, and
an aftermarket cassette stereo has been installed. The three-spoke
steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer as
well as gauges for amperage, oil pressure, and fuel level.
Exterior:
The fiberglass body was finished in white under prior ownership
following modifications to the nose that included shaving the
headlight doors, removing the bumpers, and installing an
aftermarket grille over inboard rectangular headlights. Equipment
includes a domed hood, split rear bumpers, and side exhaust pipes.
Polished 17? Cragar Street Pro wheels with faux knock-offs are
wrapped in 215/45 front and 225/55 rear BFGoodrich g-Force Comp-2
A/S tires.
Drivetrain:
The replacement 350ci V8 is topped with an aftermarket four-barrel
carburetor with an electric choke. Power is sent to the rear wheels
through a four-speed manual transmission.
