This classic Chevy was originally purchased new in 1953 and stored in a garage for over 20 years before undergoing a complete frame-off restoration in 2007. It’s finished in a striking two-tone dark green over light green—true to its vintage look and era.
Under the hood sits a smooth-running 250 cubic inch inline 6-cylinder engine, offering reliable performance and easy maintenance. The drivetrain was thoroughly refreshed during restoration, with a complete engine tune-up, new ignition components, electric fuel pump, and a 12-volt electrical conversion for modern reliability.
The car also features modern air conditioning, tastefully integrated to maintain a stock appearance while adding comfort for warm-weather cruising.
The restoration included a fully rebuilt suspension system, new brakes, fuel lines, gas tank, battery, and more. The body was stripped to bare metal, repaired, and refinished with DuPont 2-stage chromabase and clear coat—then color sanded and buffed to a show-quality shine.
Inside, the car received a full interior refresh from J&K Upholstery, including the trunk and spare tire area. The original grille and bumpers were rechromed, and all stainless trim was retained and polished. The windshield was replaced, the rest of the glass remains original, and new weatherstripping and gaskets were installed throughout.
Underneath, the car was treated with Wurth undercoating for long-term protection. It rides on new wide whitewall tires with original-style painted rims and stock hubcaps. All factory equipment is present and working—including the heater, radio, and lights. The original jack and tools are still with the car.
