What's better than a classic Beetle? How about a classic Super
Beetle convertible!? This 1979 Volkswagen Super Beetle convertible
has a lot going for it. For starters, the engine was rebuilt, new
brakes lines were installed, and a new battery was put in making
this a great driver. It drove into our showroom from over an hour
away without issue.
Secondly, color combination. The paint is a red orange color that
fits this Beetle well and will stand out in a crowd. Pair that with
a white convertible top with top boot and you're sure to draw some
attention. Chrome wheels look fantastic finishing off the
exterior.
The interior is black vinyl and is left very close to factory
original. Under the hood sits a clean and strong running 1,600 CC
engine, paired to a 4-speed manual. Speaking of manual, a shop
manual comes with this Beetle in case you like tinkering on your
own cars! This was a fuel injected Beetle to begin with, but with
the issues those can have, the owner decided it was better to
replace it with a carburetor for ease.
The trunk is clean and solid and has custom carpet pieces for a
nice usable storage surface. This is a nice Beetle convertible that
is ready to cruise and enjoy, so give us a call to get yourself
behind the wheel!
