Vehicle Description
This 1968 Dodge Charger is powered by a replacement 383ci V8 linked
with a three-speed automatic transmission, and service since 2019
included overhauling the front disc and rear drum brakes,
installing a Holley carburetor, Doug's headers, and an aluminum
radiator, and replacing the rear axles, third member, and
ring-and-pinion gears. The exterior is finished in green with a
black vinyl roof and features hideaway headlamps and round
side-marker lights, while the cabin is outfitted with green front
bucket seats, a center console, and an AM radio. Further equipment
includes power steering, 15? Magnum 500-style wheels, and an X-pipe
exhaust system. Acquired by the seller in 2022. The exterior was
repainted in the current shade of green Poly under previous
ownership, and details include a black vinyl roof, hideaway
headlamps, round side-marker lights, a driver-side mirror, and a
chrome rear bumper, window surrounds, and trim. The headlights were
replaced in 2019, and a headlight trim kit is included in the sale.
The 15? Magnum 500-style wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich Radial
T/A white-letter tires. The car is equipped with power steering. A
front disc brake setup was installed in 2019, at which point the
brake booster, master cylinder, and rear drums and shoes were
replaced. The front bucket seats and rear bench are upholstered in
green vinyl and are joined by woodgrain trim on the center console.
A factory-style AM radio remains mounted on the dashboard.
Three-spoke steering wheel, a 150-mph speedometer and a tachometer
with an inset clock along with gauges for fuel level, coolant
temperature, oil pressure, and alternator charge. The five-digit
odometer shows 61k miles, approximately 1k of which were added
under previous ownership. The replacement 383ci V8 was installed
under prior ownership, and it is equipped with a replacement Holley
carburetor. Doug's headers flow to a dual exhaust system with an
X-pipe, and the starter, battery hold-down, and PCV valve were
replaced in October 2019. An aluminum radiator and a Napa battery
were installed in 2022. Power is routed to the rear wheels through
a three-speed automatic transmission. The third member, rear axles,
and axle bearings were replaced in early 2020 with units provided
by Dr. Diff, at which point a set of 3.55:1 ring-and-pinion gears
was installed. Original Suggested Retail $62,750.00 MGM Buy it Now
