Vehicle Description
1937 Packard Eight Sedan
Step into the golden age of American luxury with this 1937 Packard
Eight Sedana true survivor that still wears its original character
with pride. Delivered new to Fargo Garage in Fargo, North Dakota on
June 7, 1937, this stately machine still carries its factory
delivery tag, unmolested drivetrain, and a cabin rich with vintage
charm.
Key Features:
Flathead Inline 8-Cylinder Engine
The hallmark of Packard smoothness, this straight-eight engine is
original to the car and retains its authentic components and patina
under the hood.
3-Speed Manual Transmission
Floor-mounted shifter with original linkage and hardware still in
place.
Honest Survivor Interior
Upholstered in period-correct mohair-style cloth, the cabin
features art deco dash trim, dual sweeping gauge clusters,
banjo-style steering wheel, and suicide rear doors. The headliner
shows tears and sagging, and some interior panels and glass (rear
and drivers side) show cracking consistent with decades of
storage.
Original Paint and Trim
Finished in silver, the exterior displays a worn yet charming
patina. Factory chrome trim and Packard badging remain intact. This
sedan rolls on wide whitewalls with Packard hubcaps.
Documented History
A cowl-mounted tag from Packard Motor Car Company confirms delivery
through Fargo Garage on 6/7/37.
Odometer: 24,762 miles (believed original)
Condition Notes:
Bullet-style impact cracks in glass (notably rear and drivers
side)
Headliner and upper trim area in need of reupholstery
Presents as-found and untouched mechanically and cosmetically
An excellent candidate for full restoration or preservation as a
true patina classic
