LaFontaine Classic Cars is excited to offer: Gulfstream Aqua over
Black, Absolutely Stunning, 69' Mach 1 S Code! This car was sourced
from a long time enthusiast and collector whose goal was to
heighten the driving experience while adding reliability and not
taking the car away from its origins! Restoration highlights
include: Refinishing the body in the original Gulfstream Aqua
paint, and replacing or restoring many interior components
resulting in the impressive condition you see the car in today.
Under the hood boasts a beautifully dressed 390c.i. FE That puts
out 475hp. It features a Holley 850cfm 4bbl, an Edelbrock aluminum
performer intake manifold, Edelbrock Aluminum Heads, Comp Cam
(XE274H-10), Long Tube Headers, and runs off a Mallory
ElectronicIgnition box. Keeping things running cool is a high
flowing water pump and 3in Aluminum Radiator. This engine is mated
to the robust 4-Speed Toploader that has been upgraded to a
hydraulic clutch for smooth, easy shifts. Power gets put to the
ground through the 9inch Axle housing spinning 3.50 Traction Lock
Gears!The interior features high-back bucket seats with new seat
covers along with a rear fold down bench also trimmed in the
correct black vinyl. The dash pad, door panels, center console,
carpet, window felts, and door seals have also been replaced. The
radio has also been upgraded to a RetroSound!
The underpinnings of this Mach were certainly not overlooked! It's
absolutely beautiful and built to perform! New Coil springs and
shocks keep the ride smooth while the front stabilizer bar and
frame connectors keep the car feeling tight down a winding road!
Long tube headers lead to a professionally built dual exhaust which
features two Stainless Steel Pypes mufflers and polished tips! The
Mag 500 wheels measure 15 in diameter and are wrapped in new
BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. (Front: 235/65/r15 Rear:
