1950 B-2 3/4 Ton Dodge Power Wagon
This is a B-2 - 3/4 Ton: 1950 (75 years old) manual shift Dodge Power Wagon.
This carries a 230 Flathead - Straight 6 Cylinder Engine with an output of 94 Horsepower at 3200 RPM's. It has a gear ratio of 5.83 and a top cruising speed of approximately 45 Miles Per Hour (Not designed for speed, it is all low-end gears). Also noted - it has the original (fully operational) Direct Drive 1 Ton Braden Winch and Cable. This vehicle was originally a forestry vehicle out of Osceola Mills, Pennsylvania area.
In 2015, this vehicle went through a complete frame-off restoration and complete engine overhaul. Since the overhaul, the motor has 1,075 miles on it. The bed of the truck has been replaced with a Heavy Duty Rhino Lined Electric Hydraulic lift (fully operational) with the ability to be used as a dump truck.
The truck has been converted to a 12-volt system. All gauges/windows/wipers/lights/turn signals/emergency flashers/& 4 Wheel Drive work as they were intended to work in 1950. All fluids/oil filter/front and rear differential casings have been changed and maintained with documented records. Brakes have been checked and are in excellent condition.
This 1950 Dodge Power Wagon has been stored in a climate controlled garage since restoration work has been completed. It is a sound running vehicle with no mechanical issues, the interior is in near perfect condition. This vehicle has been used for parades, nursing home visits and numerous car shows.
