Single-family ownership for 25 years. The final production T6 356C
model, presented in Signal Red with Black upholstery. Per the
Porsche Kardex (build sheet), this 356C Cabriolet retains its
matching engine. It was equipped with two headrests, chrome wheels,
a Blaupunkt Frankfurt AM/FM radio, loudspeakers, and an
antenna.
This 356C Cabriolet project has all its components and is a great
restoration candidate. The exterior includes all decks, doors,
bumpers, glass, and exterior trim. The interior is complete with
seats, door panels, door tops, rear panels, quarter panel inserts,
VDO instrumentation, and the VDM steering wheel.
Mechanically, it is powered by the matching 1600cc flat-four engine
that produces 75 HP, paired with a matching manual 4-speed
transmission (type 741) and a four-wheel disc braking system. This
Cabriolet does not run or drive, but the engine does turn over by
hand. Complete with a Porsche Kardex and spare wheel. This is a
complete 356C Cabriolet project that requires a full mechanical and
cosmetic restoration.
