1966 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible believed to have its original
mileage of just over 81,000 miles. The current owner has had the
car for approximately 30 years, having received it as a 50th
birthday gift in 1996, at which time it was repainted in its
original Red color with a black interior and white vinyl
convertible top, preserving much of the car's authentic 1966
showroom appearance. The car is powered by a robust 389 cubic inch
V8 engine paired with a Turbo Hydramatic 400 automatic transmission
and includes features such as power steering and power brakes.
Well-maintained exterior, despite minor imperfections such as a
small dimple in the passenger side fender skirt and some aging on
the black leather bench seats inside, which are most likely
original. The car includes extras like two convertible top covers
(red and black), a full-size spare tire with tools, and some
miscellaneous parts like a replacement heater core and trim pieces.
Mechanically, the car has recently seen a new fuel pump, battery,
oil pressure sending unit, and a fresh oil change, but does have
some typical wear and tear such as a slightly worn lower ball
joint, drivetrain leaks, non-functioning horn and stereo, and
partial brake life remaining on the front and rear. The power
convertible top works smoothly, with no observable damage in the
fabric or glass. The car's analog dash cluster retains its vintage
charm, complete with original gauges, including fuel, battery,
clock, and a woodgrain dash centerpiece. On the road the Bonneville
runs smoothly, handles well, and is comfortable, making it ideal
