1967 Chevrolet Camaro 383ci stroker V8 that was assembled with a
SCAT crankshaft, COMP Cams camshaft, hypereutectic pistons, Dart
aluminum cylinder heads, Fi-Tech fuel injection, and Doug's
ceramic-coated headers. Shifting is through a four speed manual
transmission, and the Currie 9? rear end is fitted with 31-spline
axles and a 4.11:1 gear set. Refinished in Meteor Gray Metallic
over a refreshed red interior, the car rides on 17? Rally style
wheels and has hyrdoboost assisted four wheel disc brakes.
Components for the suspension were sourced from BMR, Eibach,
Detroit Speed, and Competition Engineering. This modified Camaro
coupe has a clean California title. The car was refinished in its
current shade of Meteor Gray Metallic in 2009 and is equipped with
a cowl induction hood with Hotchkis quick-release hood pins, Ring
Brothers hinges, and aluminum louvers. Additional details include a
shaved front bumper, a chrome rear bumper, and a rear spoiler.
Seals for the trunk and taillights were replaced in 2023.
Suspension includes 2? drop spindles up front and 3? drop leaf
springs out back, Calvert Racing CalTracs traction bars, BMR
tubular control arms, Eibach springs, and Competition Engineering
adjustable dampers. The four-wheel disc brake system is equipped
with a CPP Hydroboost brake booster, and a Steeroids
rack-and-pinion steering setup is installed. Rally-style 17? wheels
are mounted with Michelin tires. The cabin has been re-trimmed in
red, and vinyl upholstery covers the front bucket seats and the
rear bench. A Hurst shifter is fitted. An SS-branded steering wheel
sits ahead of AutoMeter instrumentation that includes a 160-mph
speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary readouts. The
