From 1967 through 1982 the third generation or the "C3" Corvette
was produced. It would undoubtedly go through one of the hardest
times in Automotive history with the oil embargo which would choke
emissions to less than a 1/3 of the horsepower previously put out
in these Corvettes. It would also be put to the test with the
incoming government regulations for safety which also meant design
due to crash test ratings and to top it off, not the best economy
and the onslaught of fun, sporty European cars coming across the
pond. However, if any American Sports car prevailed the best it
would be the Corvette in my opinion. This C3 is a absolute stunning
example in every way. There is not one thing that does not work on
this car including all gauges, lights, power windows and the bonus,
a phenomenal working A/C system. The car has been repainted but we
have no reason to believe based on the condition of the rest of the
car that mileage is anything but accurate. The radiator has been
replaced but the original comes with the car. Also, a set of
prototype glass T-tops are fitted on the car and have been with the
car since the early days. The original paint to match tops come
with the car as well but would need to be painted as they are faded
compared to the newer paint on the car. The interior is original
with the only wear is the side of the bolsters. There are plenty of
recent records that accompany the car showing a love to make this
thing dialed in. This car starts so easy, idles instantly, has zero
smoke or leaks and goes down the road like a dream. Some desirable
options include power steering, brakes, A/C, tilt and power
windows. The side pipes were added but make a great look on this
car. If you are looking for an incredible C3, you may want to take
a look at this....We encourage any questions or inspections.
