Vehicle Description
GR Auto Gallery is excited to present this jaw-dropping 1967
Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 for your consideration. Finished in sleek
black paint and set off with bold American Racing 5-spoke wheels,
this car is a true visual statement of muscle and menace. Its
aggressive stance, paired with a Pro Street build, commands
attention from every angle. This example is a real-deal SS 396,
verified by the "38" in the VIN, and it has been extensively
transformed into a modern street and strip performer during a
meticulous 2022 build.
Under the hood lies a beastly big-block Chevrolet engine that's
anything but ordinary. Featuring a balanced rotating assembly,
Eagle connecting rods, ARP main studs, and a Comp Cams roller
lifter setup, this powerplant is built for serious performance and
reliability. Crowning the engine is a polished Weiland 6-71 blower
with a 4-inch spacer, fed by dual Quick Fuel Technology Q-650-B2
carburetors and supported by an Aeromotive fuel pump system. Hooker
long tube headers, Flowmaster mufflers, and QuickTime electric
exhaust cutouts give you full control over your exhaust note-from
restrained to downright ferocious. And for those who crave even
more power, a complete wet nitrous system capable of a 250 shot is
ready at your command.
Performance isn't just about speed-it's about control. This
Chevelle features Wilwood disc brakes for immense stopping power
and a Pro Street suspension setup that keeps it planted and
composed under hard acceleration. A custom Be Cool aluminum
radiator and high-flow water pump keep things cool even under the
most intense conditions. Convenience meets function with an
exterior-mounted battery cutoff and jump points, adding to its
practical streetability.
The interior continues the theme of vintage performance with modern
function. Black vinyl seats are in fantastic condition and provide
a classic feel, while a Hurst shifter puts control firmly in your
hands. A full Autometer gauge cluster keeps tabs on all engine
vitals, giving the driver full confidence behind the wheel. The
cockpit feels both familiar and purposeful, made to handle the
power underfoot.
The 1967 Chevelle SS is already one of the most desirable muscle
cars of its era, but this example takes it several steps further.
With its authentic SS heritage, professionally executed Pro Street
build, and show-quality condition, this is a machine built to
thrill, intimidate, and dominate. Whether you're heading to the
drag strip or pulling into a weekend show, this Chevelle has what
it takes to leave a lasting impression.
