This 1988 Ford F-250 XLT Lariat is a really nice, clean truck that
spent its life in the Pacific Northwest. This truck was highly
optioned back in the day. The body on this truck is clean and
straight. The White and Desert Tan Metallic paint appears to be all
original and it still looks really nice and shined up great. All of
the chrome and trim appear to be original with the exception of the
rear bumper and it all looks really good. The underside is super
clean on this truck and we found no rust issues anywhere.
The interior is also really nice and mostly original. The dash,
door panels, carpet, and headliner are original and nice. The
headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are all
working. The gauges all work. This truck has tilt wheel and working
cruise control. It has working power windows and power locks. The
horn and windshield wipers are working and this truck also working
heat and AC!
Mechanically this truck is excellent and it runs and drives great!
The engine is the original 5.8L 351W that is totally stock. It runs
strong with no issues or red flags that we found. Recent work
includes new intake manifold gaskets, new TPS sensor, new
alternator, new distributor, and new MSD ignition. The transmission
is the C6 automatic that shifts nice and it is mated to the Borg
Warner manual transfer case. The 4WD works like it should. It has
the Ford 10.25 rear axle with 3.55 gears and a factory limited
slip. It has the Dana 44 TTB front axle with 3.55 gears. This is
all sitting on a cool set of factory steel wheels with hubcaps and
nearly new Wild Country All terrain tires.
