The car was ordered and delivered by Ron Rossen Superformance Cobra
of Fairfield, OH as a completed car. The car is documented in the
"Superformance Cobra Owners Registry" as Car #122, Model 427 S/C
delivered dressed in Portofino Blue with White Stripes. It is
powered by a Ford 351 GT-40 SVO "Twisted Wedge" engine that was
professionally prepared, balanced and blueprinted and built to 415
spec horsepower. Power is transferred via its Tremec 5 Speed
Transmission and delivered by its Ford 9 inch IRS rear end. Other
highlights include: Cobra sport seats, wood 3 spoke steering wheel,
Smiths gauges, Halidbrand style knock off wheels, side exhaust,
roll hoop, front and rear bumpers, billet fuel cap, wind wings,
visors, full tonneau, side curtains, fitted car cover, etc.
Since purchased new in 1996, the car has had just 3 responsible
owners and today at just under 13000 miles, this Cobra remains in
excellent condition cosmetically and mechanically. Our 22 mile test
drive revealed a car that is fully sorted, powerful and very
balanced. Motor, suspension, steering and brakes all working
together to produce a confident ride. The car bull strong in all
gears and the gearing is such that it will leave you wondering
where the end is to the top end.
