PLYMOUTH SATELLITE SUPERBIRD CLONE
This limelight Green Superbird tribute is a one-of-a-kind build was crafted to honor the legend - with a modern twist and serious performance under the hood.
The Plymouth Superbird is one of the most iconic and sought-after muscle cars ever built - an unmistakable symbol of NASCAR dominance and Mopar engineering. Introduced for the 1970 model year, it was created specifically to conquer high-speed oval tracks and to homologate the radical aerodynamic design for NASCAR competition.
With its signature pointed nose cone and massive rear wing, the Superbird was built for high-speed stability and downforce, making it a standout on both the road and the racetrack.
Originally born a Plymouth Satellite 2-door hardtop out of St. Louis, Missouri, at the heart of this specimen its heart is a beastly bored and stroked 572cid HEMI engine, force-fed by a 1-DSC ProCharger Supercharger producing an estimated 700hp, backed by a Torqueflight automatic transmission paired with a Ford 9” rear. That rear is no ordinary setup: it’s a Mosier-built housing made from ¼” steel, packed with heavy-duty Mosier axles and 3.55 gears for maximum strength and reliability. This setup delivers massive power and torque, making it as fast as it looks.
Supporting hardware includes an MSD Boost Timing Master, MSD ignition system, and a full suite of performance gauges: Sunpro temperature, voltage, and oil, plus Autometer RPM, fuel, and boost gauges - so you’re always dialed in.
Adding to the slick functionality are electric pop-up headlights, giving the classic front end a smooth and seamless operation – modern convenience with vintage style.
If you’re looking for a head-turning tribute that combines iconic style with brutal power, look no further. This is your chance to own a modern muscle legend, built to thrill and ready to dominate.
