1969 Dodge Charger
Another ORIGINAL, ORIGINAL, ORIGINAL car. Absolutely amazing
untouched 1969 Charger that was sold new to a gentleman named WC
Morrison in Englewood Florida. A few years later a young lady named
Joanne Castle bought the car (around 1975) and she owned it until
approximately 1993 when Dallas Kelly purchased the Mopar. The
Charger was driven a bit and then stored in a barn until recently
resurrected.
We've seen some original cars in the store but this is one that
simply makes us smile. Virtually untouched. We have a book of
pictures from when the car was brought out of its barn slumber.
Nicely equipped for 1969 this Charger has Factory Air-conditioning,
a 318, power steering, power brakes, vinyl top, bucket seats,
headrests and more. 5 original factory painted rims and dog dish
hubcaps are still present. Original Build Sheets (Broadcast Sheets
to Mopar folks) accompany the car.
We've done some minor maintenance items on the Charger being very
careful not to disturb the patina. We just can't find them like
this anymore- this car made it 56 years without being rusted,
wrecked, hot rodded, painted or turned into a General Lee or
worse...If you want a shiny paint, crappy replacement metal, out of
the box interior this is not your car. There are plenty of those
out there.
Drive it, show it, keep it in a bubble and polish it as a prized
possession, the choice is yours once you make it yours.
