Vehicle Description
Classic Car Addict is excited to present this beautiful 1953
Chevrolet 210 custom two-door coupe for sale in our Mesa, Arizona
showroom. The 210 was a body off restoration, built by Roy Rockwell
(2017) from Washington State and was built from the Little Old Lady
Car (a smaller, more compact vintage car, intended for a more
delicate or petite driver). The sale of the vehicle will come with
a book of literature and receipts.
The front and rear bench seats are upholstered in green with
parchment vinyl and are joined by color-coordinated door panels and
a body-colored dashboard. The seat was moved back 2" during the
restoration. Features include a column shifter, analog clock,
glovebox, under dash Vintage AC (not blowing cold) with factory
heater and fresh air vents. It has an Alpine Audio (glove box
mounted) with front and rear speakers. Additional upgrades include
a Lokar accelerator pedal, Lokar e-brake, and an amp meter
converted to volts. The two-spoke steering wheel features a chrome
horn ring and fronts a 110-MPH speedometer and gauges indicating
coolant temperature, fuel level, battery, and oil pressure. The
five-digit odometer shows 75,313 miles, which are accurate to the
body, not the engine.
The coupe received a body-off restoration that was repainted, the
stainless has been polished, and the chrome was re-chromed. The
body is finished in Surf Green with a Woodland Green top and
features chrome trim on the bumpers, side moldings, grille, and
window surrounds. Additional equipment includes dual side mirrors,
a hood ornament, bumper overriders, and custom exhaust with
Edelbrock performance series Tru-Flo mufflers. The 5-spoke wheels
roll on new Coker Classic SS wheels, 215/75R15 up front and
235/75R15 out back.
The Club Coupe now features a Chevrolet 350 V8 engine that is
paired with a turbo 350 automatic transmission and a 10-bolt rear
end. The engine has been heat-coated and modified with headers,
Edelbrock water pump, and a four-barrel carburetor. The chassis has
been modified with a Heidt's front end, tubular control arms, rack
and pinon steering, as well as GM front disc brakes and rear drum
brakes with dual master cylinders.
