Vehicle Description
It isn't often that we come across a tribute car that looks and
feels better than the original, but then, few Pony Cars have been
as meticulously restored and upgraded as this 1967 Ford Mustang
Fastback GT Tribute. With receipts that total deep into the
six-figure range, this first-gen Mustang was resurrected by way of
a rotisserie restoration, which is a thorough process where a car
is disassembled and placed on a rotating frame. This setup allows
for easy access to every part, making it simple to remove rust, do
detailed bodywork, and apply a top-notch paint job, as this car's
new floor pans, rear quarter panels, fenders, cherry red paint, and
flawless full-length racing stripes can attest to.
Inside, this Fastback has been tastefully improved in subtle, yet
effective ways. Light-up Pony emblem sill plates, a Dakota Digital
analogue-style gauge cluster, and RetroSound AM/FM/Bluetooth head
unit all add a modern vibe to contrast the classic black vinyl
bucket seats, wood-rimmed steering wheel, and cueball shift knob.
What you won't notice right away is the Lizard Skin sound-deadening
paint used throughout the interior, nor the remote control that
allows you to change the colors of the LED halo headlights, but you
will appreciate them once the compliments and thumbs-ups start
becoming part of your everyday life.
Pop open the scooped hood, and you're treated to a spotless engine
bay featuring a Ford Racing 302 cubic-inch crate V-8 engine
outfitted with aluminum heads and a mild performance cam. Inhaling
through a single four-barrel Brawler carburetor and Edelbrock
intake, and exhaling spent gasses through a set of Hooker long tube
headers, H-pipe exhaust and sweet-sounding MagnaFlow mufflers, this
small block is rated at approximately 340 horsepower, which will
sound and feel as fast as anything from the 1960s. That power is
funneled through a six-speed manual transmission before reaching
the 3.55:1 geared nine-inch rear end, which allows for the perfect
mix of off-the-line thrust and comfortable highway cruising.

This incredible 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback GT Tribute rides on a
tubular front suspension complete with coilovers and a sway bar.
The rear end uses a traditional live-axle setup to ensure an
authentic launch every time. Staggered US Mags wheels measuring 18
inches in back and 17 inches up front are shod in Sumitomo rubber
and hide cross-drilled and slotted Wilwood power disc brakes at all
four corners that can scrub off speed as quickly as that 5.0 can
generate it. Add in receipts, service manuals, and an owner's
manual, and you have the ultimate restomod tribute muscle Mustang
that may just be better than the original car it was built to pay
homage to. The only thing faster than how quickly you will make new
friends in this Fastback is how quickly it will be scooped up by
any number of Blue Oval faithful. So don't wait another second,
