This beautiful Buick LeSabre was a part of our Hollywood car
collection for many years. It was used by the legendary Bette Davis
and Jimmy Stewart in the movie The Right of Way. We just acquired
it back from the lovely people we sold it to about 20 years
ago.
EXTERIOR: Amazing colors and body lines! The two-tone Sable Black
and Tampico Red paint is super nostalgic and really pops. The
sculpted body design is both beautiful and unique. When looking
down the side of the nice and straight body you will see smooth
contours and crisp lines. The panels were all painstakingly aligned
square and flush with consistent gaps that are well above average.
The doors close easily with minimal effort. All the glass is
crystal clear and must have been replaced during restoration. The
chrome bumpers and remaining trim all have a glorious shine. The
front grille with floating Buick emblem looks so cool and is in
great shape. The taillights are also in great condition and remind
me of a jet afterburner or rocketship. The fender skirts and fender
embellishments really dress things up nicely. It is rolling on a
set of 15" steel rims that are wrapped in radial whitewall tires
and have the correct hubcaps.
INTERIOR: So cool! A massive hooded bar speedometer immediately
steals your attention. And the coolest part is you're actually
seeing the gauge in a mirror that easily adjusts with a dial to its
right, for taller or shorter drivers. To its left is another dial
that adjusts the speed indicator which starts buzzing when you
drive too fast. And it works, how cool is that! All the bezels and
knobs are in great shape. The original Sonomatic radio is still in
place. A factory style tissue box holder with Buick emblem is such
a cool and nostalgic option. Everything has been restored or
refurbished and looks fantastic. Both the seats were reupholstered
in matching black, red, and white fabric. The tri-colored door
panels were also replaced and have "LeSabre" embossed in them. The
white vinyl headliner is nice and tight plus the carpet was also
replaced. The light on the dash and inside the glovebox are both
working.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Wildcat powerplant! The 346 cubic inch V8 runs
extremely smooth and quiet. It is topped off with a 2 barrel
carburetor and a super cool air cleaner that has the hand stamped
"Wildcat" logo on the snorkel. Nicely equipped with power brakes
and effortless power steering. The original style generator and
radiator are currently working great. The battery is properly
secured and the squirters are hooked up. The original fender tag is
in place. The fender wells and firewall are neatly painted satin
black plus the underside of the hood is complete with
insulation.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Massive! The underside of the trunk lid and jamb
are neatly painted body color. It also has a jack instruction
sticker and the weatherstrip is soft. Nicely equipped with a
full-size spare tire, hubcap, vinyl cover, and even a vinyl trunk
mat. Inside is a picture of Betty Davis and James Stewart sitting
in this car while filming the movie "Right of Way". The original
California black plate used in the movie is also included.
UNDERSIDE: This car has a clean and solid undercarriage that has
been maintained as needed since restoration. It's equipped with a
power steering system that works effortlessly. The springs and
shocks were previously replaced and provide an impressively smooth
ride. Equipped from the factory with 4 wheel power drum brakes. The
dual exhaust has also been replaced and has a transverse muffler.
Looking up at the V8 engine and automatic transmission, they are
both nice and clean. The floors appear to be solid and had an
undercoating applied some time ago.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we
built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and
hired a team of technicians to work it. This is so we can give away
the best cars within reason.

For nearly 30 years, I, Jay Grams, have personally written the
highlights for almost every car in our collection. What I provide
is my professional opinion based on my experience with these
vehicles. However, opinions can vary, and I strongly recommend a
personal inspection to form your own view. Our sales team is always
available to answer any questions you may have. One great option is
to request a personalized walk-around video, where we can showcase
the car and share our team's insights. **Our cars are displayed
within a museum setting. If you are interested in a specific
vehicle, please schedule an appointment with a salesperson to view
it. Without an appointment, there is an admission fee to enter the
showroom. If you decide to purchase a car, your admission will be
refunded, and you'll receive a one-year museum membership.
