I’m down to my next to the last classic car. I’m only keeping one. This MB 450SLC is a blast to drive. I’ve had some other luxury classics and muscle cars in the past and this car gets more thumbs up than any of the others. I’ve owned Cadillacs, Lincoln’s, Buicks, Oldsmobiles and other luxury cars and this car rides better than all of the others. I’m amazed at the ride of an almost 50 year old car. The previous owner had $80,000 in this car over the years and I owned it about 4 years and have $23,000 in it.
I put a fuel distribution unit in it along with some sensors and a little bit more. This MB has a lot of miles left on it with a rebuilt motor. It has been refurbished over the years with the previous owner. It had been in his family since new and he bought it from his sister. The paint shines like new although it has some scratches and a few dings. It has the optional aluminum wheels and sunroof. This was MBs most expensive car in 1976 at around $27,000. The SLC has a back seat and has a longer wheelbase than the SL.
