Monza coupe, 140/4pd/3.55 (not posi). I have reason to believe the engine and most of the car were rebuilt/painted around 2000. Odo shows 10K obviously not original miles. I do not know the engine history, but runs great, and no oil leaks (amazing for a Corvair). Engine is stock to the best of my knowledge, except for Pertronix conversion. I have owned the car for 3 years. In that time, the carburetors and trans have been rebuilt, new clutch, changed mufflers to pair of Harleys, replaced plugs and both thermostatic bellows. New tires in 2022, only 1500 miles on them. ET-X wheels, see pricing note. Rebuilt rear brakes. Front brakes are disc by PO. Bronze bushings upgrade to the shifter tube. Last year I repainted the car after stripping to bare metal (except for some previous bodywork). Acrylic lacquer, done by me. TCP Global Graphite Grey Metallic, with clearcoat. New frunk seal. PO had installed a Corsa dash, and I replaced the inop clock with an Auto Meter oil pressure gage, pretty good match with the OEMs. Replaced the fuseblock with a new one from Racers Inc and addressed several wiring problems in the process. Very recent new Facet electric fuel pump. Everything works except the windshield washer, the rear seatback latch, and the manifold pressure gage, which I think is only for turbo’d cars. The interior (see pics) is custom by a PO. I do not know what the seats are. The console is just for looks – switches not connected to anything. Upholstery is in ok condition, has some sun cracks, separated console stitching, but nothing through to padding. The padded dash under the cover has no cracks. Aftermarket Kenwood stereo. Older aftermarket (Ididit?) tilt column.
Price is $14,500 as shown. $13,500 without wheels and tires.
