from Beau, one of our regular customers and friend where he had it
garage kept here in beautiful Aiken, SC. Beau is a bit of a Land
Rover enthusiast and kept this beauty well-maintained during his
ownership. He only stopped driving it after purchasing both a new
Defender and an old Defender (from us of course!). This Discovery
has a clean CarFax which shows the entire history here in South
Carolina which means the undercarriage is nice and clean.
Originally sold at Land Rover Columbia in Columbia, SC on May 7,
2001 and dealer serviced.Finished in Bonatti Grey (LRC 649 paint

Best 4x4 By Far On and OffroadThe last owner performed extensive
maintenance to the vehicle to handle some of the typical
'Discovery' issues to keep this beauty dry inside and on road.
Beau's maintenance included removing the headliner to rebuild the
sunroof seals and drains, replacing the a-pillar trim, front cowl,
rear suspension air bags (yes the air bags work!), heater core,
crankshaft sensor, and the door weatherstripping for the rear. The
head gaskets have been previously replaced estimated to be
approximately 10K miles ago. Car Cave did additional maintenance
prior to listing for sale including a complete overhaul of the AC
system, power steering pump, serpentine belt, and viscous coupler.
The 18-inch 5- split spoke alloy Land Rover wheels are clad in
Cooper Discoverer 255/55R18 tires.Originally designed designed for
off-roading, this vehicle is full of little details that will make
life that much better. The bumper includes a factory step up to the
factory roof and luggage rack. A fifth tire is rear-mounted to
ensure that when you're out on the trail, you'll be able to get
back home. Multiple off-road modes mean more fun, and factory
air-ride helps to smooth over some of the bumps. The added front
tow bar connection with light hook-up means that you can flat tow
this Disco behind your RV or toy hauler. The Blue Ox tow bar is
available from the previous owner for the previous owner for an
additional amount. The interior is finished in beige leather with
power seats (that are also heated!), seating for seven, and a radio
and CD player. The air conditioning keeps everything nice and cool,
and the second rear bench has the option of a fold-down console and
rear AC. Let your hair down and let in the air?the dual sunroofs
let in the sun and the fresh air. The spacious rear cargo area
includes two jump seats, has been used in the past for numerous
grocery runs, because in the Discovery, it doesn't matter where
you're going?you're on an adventure. Here at Car Cave, we believe a
driven car is a healthy car, and we regularly put hundreds (if not
thousands) of these miles on our vehicles to ensure they're ready
for you. Contact us at (803) 262-4742 or stop by our shop in Aiken,
