Cruisin Classics is proud to share with you today this very rare and insanely cool 1997 Acura NSX-T with only 39,388 ACTUAL MILES! These miles are backed up by a clean Carfax and an actual mileage title, not to mention the impeccable condition of the car itself. This was the seventh model year for the NSX, and it was the pinnacle of Honda's engineering and design prowess at the time. This is the world's first mass-produced car to feature an all-aluminum body. This particular car was one of only four produced in '97 with a Formula Red body, Onyx interior, and an automatic transmission! This NSX comes to us dressed in what appears to be its original coat of Formula Red paint that still looks slick and glossy. The body styling is still as breathtaking today as it was back in '97, with a low-slung front nose, forward cockpit, elongated rear window that covers the mid-engine powerplant, and a full trunk topped with an integrated spoiler. 1997 was the first year that Acura produced the NSX with a removable targa top (hence the "T" in the name), and this one is painted body-color. Up front, you'll find flip-up headlights, a small Acura logo badge on the nose-cone, a black chin spoiler, and a small front trunk ("frunk") that offers no storage but is home to a compact spare tire, radiator, and headlight mechanicals. The sides of the NSX feature color-keyed side mirrors, unique door handles, discreet "NSX" badges on the doors, and deep air vents just behind the doors to help the engine breathe. At the rear are dual chrome exhaust tips, a thin LED third brake light that runs the width of the aforementioned spoiler, and a working power antenna. This incredible machine rolls down the road on factory forged aluminum alloy 7-spoke wheels (16" in front, 17" in the rear) wrapped in Continental Extreme Contact tires (new in 2021).

When you lift the curved rear window, you'll see that there is actually a flat window that separates the cockpit from this area - and with good reason, because underneath a lift-up cover is the engine bay! The engine bay is home to an all-aluminum 3.0-liter DOHC V-6, which features Honda's VTEC system (variable valve timing and lift electronic control). The entire engine and its surroundings are immaculately clean and bone-stock. The 252 hp V-6 is mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission that puts down the power via a limited-slip rear differential with traction control. This drivetrain, combined with a lightweight car, a mid-engine layout, and a double wishbone suspension, is a driver's dream! We have an invoice from 2021 showing that the timing belt, tensioner, and water pump were all replaced (along with a thermostat and plugs) - a rather costly but necessary maintenance item for these cars that has already been done for you! In addition to the timing belt service, a new catalytic converter was added in 2023.

Swing open the driver's door, and you're greeted by a stunning Onyx leather interior with a cockpit feel to it. The door panels are a stylish mixture of leather and vinyl, and the driver's door has controls for power windows, locks, and mirrors. The power-adjustable leather bucket seats are in very good condition (save for some light bolster wear on the driver's seat), and they're incredibly comfortable. Between the seats is a center console that follows a straight, angular rise up to the dash and actually seems to "become" the dash - a very cool design that adds to the cockpit feel of the interior. On the console/dash is an armrest/storage box, a leather-wrapped shifter for the 4-speed automatic, an incredible AM/FM/Cassette sound system by Bose with a remote 6-disc CD changer in the trunk, and an automatic climate control system that offers cold AC and hot heat on demand. Ahead of the driver is a leather-wrapped steering wheel with airbag and cruise controls that's mounted to a tilt and telescopic column. The stock gauges all work as they should, and there is a tachometer with a 7,500 rpm redline and a 180mph speedometer. The black carpet is in flawless condition and is kept that way with carpeted factory floor mats with red "NSX" stitching that really pops in the all-black interior. Overhead are map lights and the easily removable targa top. Ahead of the passenger in the glovebox, you'll find the original owner's manual and a stack of service receipts from the last five or so years. Back in the trunk is the 6-disc CD changer, a CoverKing car cover, and under the floor panel is the factory jack, tools, and air pump. This NSX also comes with 3 standard keys and a valet key.

These NSXs are quite rare and highly coveted by collectors these days, and this particular car is an exceptional low-mileage example!
