Time for some true Classic Bayerische Motoren Werke, BMW's iconic
3.3 Li was a direct response to Mercedes-Benz's W116 S-Class launch
in 1972. The 3.3 Li's wheelbase was extended by four inches and
featured a stroked six-cylinder engine, elevating the capacity to
3.3 litres. The engine delivered 190 bhp at 5,500 rpm, and the
added torque ensured a swift and effortless ride. The 3.3 Li may
have been smaller than the S-Class, but it was more than a match in
terms of luxury. The car's standard features included leather
upholstery, electric sunroof, LI Leather Steering Wheel very
rare!!! in a bag in the trunk and a first-class stereo This 3.3 Li
was produced in 1976, on the clock it shows 10649 miles, TMU
obviously and specified in Anthracite Grey Metallic paint with
Black leather interior and wooden trims and all original glass. It
presents in fantastic condition outside, inside, and underneath,
largely thanks to a comprehensive restoration. This would be a fine
addition to any BMW collection or equally as a stand-alone classic.
