Vehicle Description
1966 Mustang Coupe DGC7864 VIN 6R07C137864 289 V-8 Engine with
Holley 2-barrel Sniper EFI Throttle Body System. C4 automatic
transmission. 15-inch American racing five-spoke wheels with
General Altimax RT 43-like brand-new tires. Power front disc brakes
with drums on the rear. This is a beautiful-looking Mustang. It was
stripped to bare metal and repainted in its original color
according to the seller, but the tag shows Sauterne Gold? If you
look this car over really well, it sure looks like the paint on
this car is the original color? You look in the trunk and the
defenders are painted the same color. It had a black vinyl top, and
I told him I'm always nervous about rust under vinyl tops. He told
me that when they stripped it, they stripped the top off and
repainted the top and everything and then put a brand-new white
vinyl top on it. The interior is in excellent condition. The driver
seat was showing some wear, so we installed a new seat cover. It
has a console and an AM/FM sound system. I bought it locally about
15 miles away from the clubhouse and drove it home. I have to tell
you this is only a two-barrel carburetor, but the Viper fuel
injection sure accelerates very well. We took it in to get it
serviced, and I was not happy with the brakes, and he installed
power to the brake system. And they work great now. I also had them
install power steering so it runs and drives great. He also
discovered some electrical interference with a Sniper fuel
injection and he redid that also, so now it drives and runs right.
I think it'll be really impressed with how clean and nice it looks
along with a new paint job and a new vinyl top.
