Sold exclusively at Braman Cadillac in Florida these Cadillacs sported “distinct Italian styling, paired with Cadillac’s signature luxury. The exterior featured Gucci’s iconic green and red pinstripe running along the car’s length, complemented by gold-plated Gucci emblems adorning the hood, wheels, and fenders. These 24k gold-plated details were sourced directly from Florence (Italy)...The car was available in three color options: black, white, and medium brown, each designed to showcase Gucci’s timeless style. A beige vinyl roof, stamped with the famous Gucci “Double G” honeycomb pattern, added to the car’s allure, extending over the C-pillars for a luxurious finish. Inside, Gucci’s signature double-G fabric adorned the seats, armrests, headrests, and floor mats. Even the steering wheel and glove compartment bore the Gucci insignia, ensuring that the branding was felt throughout the entire driving experience (1).” The exact production number is disputed ranging between 25 and 200, however it is estimated that only 10 still exist.
This particular 1979 Gucci Cadillac Seville is now perhaps the only diesel in existence. The current motor has received a recent tune up and is mechanically perfect. This Gucci Cadillac Seville has undergone recent restoration work; The entire interior (dash, doors, seats, headrests, lining, etc.) has been restored and the vinyl top replaced. The vehicle is equipped with new Coker tires, new batteries, showing 33,600 miles.
