This USA delivered 280 SE Cabriolet is 1 of only approximately 450
6-cylinder low-grille Cabriolets manufactured. It has had just four
owners from new and has been collector owned and cared for over the
years. This 280 SE was ordered with the following factory options:
236: Special light wiring daylight; 306: Activated charcoal odor
filter; 491: U.S. version; 503: Left outside mirror; 515: Becker
radio AM/FM USA; 268: Parking Brake Warning Buzzer. Previously
owned by a friend and long-time client of Autosport Designs, Inc.,
this 280 SE Cabriolet is excellent in every area. It has received
one repaint and has been properly maintained to date including a
recent service. It has only been used for seasonal touring and
never in inclement weather. When not in use, it has been stored in
a climate-controlled collector environment. On a recent road test,
this 280 SE performed perfectly. It has excellent power, the
automatic transmission shifts properly and smoothly, the suspension
and braking systems are all excellent. This 280 is complete with
owners handbook, tools, Jack, Spare Wheel, records and ownership
history. It is in exceptional condition throughout and ready for
immediate use and enjoyment.
