The previous owner bought the car in 1999, at that time it had
65000 miles on it. He had a body shop do the paint and bodywork. It
was repainted with the original Ford colors, Sheridan Blue over
Glacier Blue roof. Around the same time, the interior was
re-upholstered, the front and back seats, both door panels, back
seat side panels, and headliner. Both the front and back bumpers
and grille were re-chrome plated. At that time, new original type
bias ply, wide white wall Coker tires were mounted, including the
spare. The car was rewired with the original type 6-volt cloth
wiring front to back. Its 239 cu. in. Flathead V-8 with the 2bbl
Ford carburetor and 3-spd. manual transmission and the column
shifter are all original. Full and complete Brake job has been
completed. The radiator was re-cored. All this work was done in
2000 and 2001. New shocks were installed, front and back in 2023.
This car runs smoothly and tight and glides down the road, a real
pleasure to drive the city streets or down the highway. No rattles
or shakes. At the time of this listing, the car has 68900 miles on
it. $10,070 in receipts.
