Zephyr The 1938 Lincoln-Zephyr stood out as a hallmark of Lincoln's
pursuit of streamlined, modern design. A continuation of the Zephyr
series introduced in 1936, the 1938 model further refined the Art
Deco aesthetics of its predecessors, retaining the graceful,
aerodynamic profile that had become its signature. Under the hood,
it housed a 267-cubic-inch (4.4L) flathead V12 engine, producing
110 horsepower and delivering smooth, effortless performance.
Enhancements for the year included improved suspension for superior
ride comfort and handling, along with Lincoln's innovative
semi-unitized body construction-boosting structural integrity while
reducing weight. Styling updates for 1938 featured a more prominent
waterfall grille, repositioned headlights, and subtly reshaped
fenders for a sleeker, more contemporary appearance. Inside, the
