- this 1969 Plymouth Road Runner is an authentic, documented piece
of Mopar history. Powered by the legendary 426ci HEMI V8 paired
with an A833 four-speed manual transmission and a Dana 60 Sure-Grip
rear axle (4.10:1 Super Track Pak), this Road Runner delivers the
raw, unfiltered performance that defined a generation.
Originally sold new at Mark Motors Inc. of Arlington Heights,
Illinois, (March 17, 1969) this Road Runner has been meticulously
rotisserie-restored by Michael's Auto Restoration in Winter Haven,
Florida, and presents today in collector-grade condition.
This Road Runner is not only an iconic example of Mopar engineering
but is 1 of only 194 HEMI-powered post coupes equipped with the
four-speed transmission for 1969 - and the only one built in this
specific factory configuration, making it an undeniable crown jewel
for any collector.
The odometer currently reads 85,000 miles (approx. 500 added by the
current owner) and this Road Runner runs as fierce as it looks.
Whether for shows, private collections, or weekend cruises, this
HEMI Mopar is a must-have for the serious enthusiast. Galen's
