1970 Chevrolet Chevelle convertible is the recipient of a
no-expense-spared, frame-off restoration powered by a
period-correct Corvette 454ci V8 engine with a Holley electronic
fuel injection and a Weiand intake. The engine is mated to a TREMEC
TKX 5-speed manual transmission. The Pro-Touring treatment includes
QA1 Level 2 suspension with adjustable coilovers and Kore3
spindles, power-assisted C7 Corvette ZR1 carbon-ceramic brakes with
custom red powder-coated calipers, an integrated e-brake and a
MillerBuilt floating rear end holding a 12-bolt differential with
3.73 gears. The exterior is finished in Cortez Silver with black
stripes and a new black canvas power top with a glass rear window.
The car rides on a set of staggered BC Forged lightweight forged
aluminum monoblock wheels, 20-inch front and 21-inch rear, all
wrapped in new Pirelli P Zero tires. The interior features
stock-looking red bucket seats with a center-console interior
fitted with subtle upgrades such as Dakota Digital HDX gauges,
Vintage Air and a Retrosounds Bluetooth stereo using improved
speaker locations. This Chevelle also has power steering, an
integrated fuel pump in a new gas tank, an upgraded cooling system
with electric fan and a custom dual exhaust system. Please Note The
