1990 Lamborghini Countach - Incredible Low Mileage Example With 893
Miles From New LMC is very proud to offer for sale this 1990
Lamborghini Countach The Gandini designed Countach turned the
automotive world on its head when it premiered at the 1971 Geneva
Motor Show. The production version wouldn't arrive until three
years later, once again at the Geneva Show in 1974, but it remained
largely similar to the original design. The Countach model would
run from 1974-1990 with many changes to the original design along
the way. Seeking to commemorate the 25th birthday of the most
renowned car to bear the Lamborghini name, the Countach 25th
Anniversary was revealed for the first time at the 1988 Italian
Grand Prix. This new Countach retained the same visual panache and
performance of the existing 5000 QV but featured roughly 500 subtle
changes and improvements intended to increase passenger comfort and
refine style. Horacio Pagani, then an employee of Lamborghini, was
tasked with redesigning the bodywork. This included the raising of
the nose and re-engineering the air intakes to improve the
channeling of air towards the front brakes. At the rear of the car,
the bumper received subtle styling changes. The air intakes located
just behind the doors received thicker strakes that were painted in
the body color, rather than the traditional finish of black.
Furthermore, the 15-inch wheels were fabricated as two-piece forged
alloy units, and were wider than those fitted to the 5000 QV. The
performance of the 25th Anniversary Countach remained identical to
that of the 5000 QV, which was still very impressive. The Countach
could reach 100 km/h from a dead stop in 4.7 seconds, and its top
speed was an equally exciting 183.3 mph. Overall, these variants
are known to be the most drivable, reliable, and comfortable of the
series. This 25th Anniversary Countach was produced in May 1989 and
built as a North American-specification model as you see it today,
painted in Rosso Siviglia over a Champagne leather interior. This
factory-fresh Countach shows remarkably well, having only traveled
893 miles from new. The original paint looks incredible, deep
luster and depth. Inside, the leather interior shows like new
throughout. Furthermore, it should also be noted that the Countach
is offered with its tool kit, service manual, parts manuals, dealer
brochures and service records. The Countach 25th Anniversary
represents the last iteration for Lamborghini's most iconic car,
and many believe that it is the best of the series in terms of
overall refinement and drivability. Take this opportunity to
purchase truly one of the best original examples available
anywhere. Additional Details: 1990 LAMBORGHINI COUNTACH -
