Gateway Classic Cars of Milwaukee is proud to offer this rare 1969
AMC Hurst SC/Rambler. In the classic and collector car world,
"Unicorn" is a word used to describe a car you hear about but
seldom, if ever, see. When was the last time you saw, in person, a
real '69 Hurst SC/Rambler...go ahead, I'll wait. Only 1,512 were
made. How many are still in drivable condition today is anyone's
guess. The number of those in show quality condition is far
greater. The point is...these are very hard to find. You have to
admit, the red, white, and blue color scheme makes you feel
patriotic! If you aren't familiar with what the Hurst Rambler is
exactly, let me explain. In 1969, you could get multiple variations
of the Mustang, Camaro, and Chevelle. Big block, small block, Mach
One, Shelby, RS/SS, Copo, Z-28 name it! The Rambler was nothing
more than grandma's six cylinder grocery getter, that is, until
American Motors got together with Hurst and decided to slam a high
winding 315hp 390ci engine, 4-speed transmission, and 3.54 rear
gears into the lightweight platform. Overnight, everything changed
and the Rambler put Ford and General Motors on notice that their
street fighter could run with the big boys. There are three things
that make a classic car special; desirability, collectability, and
quality and this '69 SC/Rambler has them all. This is an
opportunity to own a true piece of automotive history. You can find
this incredible car on the showroom of our Milwaukee location, but
you better hurry because this one won't last long! This 1969 AMC
Hurst SC/Rambler is listed by our Milwaukee Showroom and can be
