Check out this cool 1948 Plymouth Custom 2-door sedan. The original
steel body was repainted in eye-catching Fire Engine Red paint with
a ton of heavy Gold flakes! It is a truly one of a kind paint job
that makes this street rod stand out from the pack! Aside from that
it has a killer stance thanks to a lowered suspension and new alloy
wheels with radial tires.
This is an excellent cruiser, and with a Dodge 318CI V8 under the
hood all of the Mopar purists will be thrilled. The engine is
topped with an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake
manifold and polished aluminum valve covers with matching air
cleaner. That V8 runs to a 727 Torqueflite automatic transmission
with a Lokar floor shifter. Disc brakes on the front gives you
peace of mind that you can bring all that steel to a swift stop
when needed.
The interior has also been restored and looks great! Red cloth and
gray vinyl on the seats and door panels give this Plymouth a very
clean look. The beautiful art deco dash layout is only modified by
an aftermarket Boss AM FM Aux stereo and an auxiliaryfuel gauge to
give you a more accurate reading. With the slew of Fords at every
cruise in, get ready to make a statement in this unique 48
Plymouth!
